The first to go was Purnama from Turnov, which is one of the bands that perform a lot of concerts. Her stage show, which is ruled by fire, warpaint and the characters of some demons, who give something extra to their Black metal-smelling Death, is especially positively evaluated. Personally, however, their set here (in 2019) did not impress me much both musically and "show", but why not watch it again. Already at the beginning of the set, an estimated half of the audience arrived to the sound engineers, who received a solid blast from the first songs. Among them were songs from the last album "Flame of Rebellion" (2020) such as "Rebellion". Gradually, burning inverted crosses began to appear, which added additional temperature degrees to the first rows in the already hot weather. The fans decided to go to the moshpit anyway, in which there were 6 of them, which is a very good thing for the first party. The song "Klam něnávisti" from the forthcoming album, which will be completely in Czech as the whole future of the band, was also heard in the ending. In the global, it was a very solid set, which was played entirely with warpaints that did not mix, which is also a plus.

Turnovská PURNAMA, which was formed in 2011, has two albums to its credit. Last year's CD "Flame of Rebellion" was reviewed by the editor-in-chief Johan, and I agree with him to the last dot, because, I quote, "it is a varied work that does not get boring". Despite the said negatives, Purnama's second album is not exactly bad. There is potential, but it would like to tighten up the musical component in addition to the image. Heavy average for now. Purnama is one of the most agile and at the same time the most contradictory bands on our scene, which has gathered a base and strongly devoted fans ready for their heroes...
